Hand-Pressed Burger with Swiss Cheese Sauteed Onions and Mushroom
Yesterday, while on a chilly, yet sunshiny, antiquing day trip, my friend and I chose to stop for lunch at Chat-A-Whyle. We both ordered a Swiss mushroom onion-smothered burger and my request for 'medium rare' was on point. Thanks to our waitress's endorsement, we went with sides of fresh coleslaw and macaroni salad. The coleslaw was slightly sweetened with tiny bits of pineapple and the macaroni salad had bits of hard-boiled egg, just the way my mother used to make it. Satisfied diners. Thank you!
